The Diamondbacks have agreed to a one-year deal with left-hander Andrew Chafin, The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports (Twitter link). The contract is pending the results of a physical, and Chafin will earn roughly $6.5MM in guaranteed money, with incentives that could add another $1MM to the southpaw’s salary. Chafin is represented by Meister Sports Management.
