Corrections Policy

Accuracy is central to Seismic Sports Coverage. If we publish a factual error, we want to know about it and correct it clearly.

How to request a correction

Use our Contact page and include:

• The direct link to the article, page, or Newswire release.
• The exact statement, headline, image credit, or omission you believe is incorrect.
• A short explanation of the issue.
• A credible source, document, or contact that can help us verify the correction.

What we correct

We correct verified factual errors, including names, dates, statistics, affiliations, quotations, image credits, and material context. We also correct misleading wording when it could leave readers with a false impression.

What is not a correction

We do not change accurate reporting simply because a subject dislikes it, prefers different framing, or wants publicity removed. We may consider a clarification, response, or update when new verified information materially improves the story.

How corrections appear

Minor spelling, grammar, and formatting fixes may be made without a public note when they do not change meaning. Material corrections will be noted in the article with a dated correction or update. We do not quietly rewrite or remove published reporting to conceal an error.

Newswire releases

Newswire items are supplied by outside organizations. Requests to correct or update a release should come from an authorized representative and include the corrected material. Where appropriate, we may add an update note or replace the supplied release with a revised version.

Timing and review

We review correction requests as quickly as possible. Some require more time to verify than others. Submitting a request does not guarantee a change, but every good-faith report is considered against available evidence.
